Podiatry (or chiropody) is the branch of medicine concerned with the treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower leg. Podiatrists or Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) are trained to study, diagnose and treat conditions including: Heel pain, Ingrown Toenails, Bunions, Hammertoes, Fungal Nails, Plantar Fasciitis, Diabetic Ulcers, Neuroma and Subungual Pain.
