Whole Food Breakfast Bowl

You can prepare this nourishing breakfast in a hurry and with any fresh or frozen fruit on hand. Yogurt contains beneficial bacteria for the intestines and gut, and the flax is a delicious source of fibre, protein and healthy essential fatty acids.

  • 1 cup (250 ml) natural plain yogurt or kefir
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) flax seeds, freshly ground
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) fresh sliced fruit of your choice, such as bananas, apple or in-season berries

Combine the ingredients in a bowl and enjoy!
